Unprecedented Growth Continues:
“Thercg.org saw 520,872 downloads, an 11.9 percent increase over March. Splinter items rose 11 percent, books were up 44.6 percent, and Landing Page traffic jumped 31 percent. It was the category of booklets, though, that recorded an absolutely phenomenal ‘spike.’ A stunning 128,051 booklets were taken throughout April! Downloads of the Easter booklet were enormous. (Incidentally, much of this Easter-driven traffic came within a single week in which total downloads across all websites reached 323,323—an all-time weekly record BY FAR!)
“But the real story is the interest these numbers generated worldwide. Downloads on all our websites gave rise to an equally phenomenal new Church Inquiry record. April ended at 788 inquiries—almost 17 percent over the previous January 2011 high of 674! If April had January’s 31 days, the total would have been 813. Thus, on a daily basis, Church Inquiries rose by 20.6 percent above our record!
“This has obviously resulted in more members and prospective members in the Church. In April, the Church grew by a little under 4 percent. Since the beginning of 2011, the Church has grown by 17 percent. This would be about 4 percent compounded four times. If this figure continues, we will more than double the percentage of growth of last year, and probably triple the raw total of last year. Here is a final point to get a comparison of how the growth rate is accelerating. In 2010, we grew slightly under 30 percent for the year. From the Days of Unleavened Bread 2010 to the same period in 2011, the Church grew slightly over 38 percent. I suspect that July 1, 2010 to July 1, 2011 will be well above 40 percent—and perhaps hit 45 percent. Each three months we go forward in comparison could see the same effect on the numbers…”
