The Austrian President swore in a new government last week, reviving a coalition between the People's Party and the far-right Freedom Party. Although some are expecting the coalition to struggle, and despite the fact that Freedom Party founder Joerg Haider won't even be a part of the new government, there is still an uneasy indication that he is eager, from his somewhat distant position as a provincial governor, to be involved in Austria's federal politics.
