Morning-After Pill Now Widely Available
RT
The controversial Morning-After pill, Plan B, is now available over-the-counter in the United States.
After more than three years of efforts to widen its availability, the Food and Drug Administration approved the sale of this contraceptive to women over the age of 18. Girls 17 and younger can still buy the pill with a prescription.
The pill contains the same drug found in common birth-control pills, only more concentrated.
